Company Description
Northeast General Pharmaceutical Factory (NEGPF), the core of Northeast Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (NEPG), was established in 1946. It is the cradle of our national pharmaceutical industry and is a major production and export base of pharmaceutical materials in our country. Nowadays Northeast General Pharmaceutical Factory (NEGPF) has become one of the largest comprehensive pharmaceutical enterprises and has already formed the multivariate production system which mainly is chemical synthesis and concurrently includes bio-fermentation and pharmaceutical preparation. NEGPF・s total asset amounts to 3.5 billion yuan RMB. The production value in 2002 amounts to 2.8 billion yuan and sales income reaches 1.3 billion yuan. Now NEGPF owns 6300 employees and occupies a total area of 1.37 million square meters. NEGPF possesses 15 producing sub-companies, pharmaceutical industry researching institute (state-level enterprise technology center), pharmaceutical industry engineering designing institute, environmental protection researching institute, quality administration center, computer center and vocational training department. NEGPF also has its own import and export corp. trading directly with foreign customers. A rounded system, which includes producing, managing, scientific researching, training and serving, has come into being. The pharmaceutical raw materials produced in NEGPF include vitamins, antibiotics, sulfa-drugs, cardio and cerebrovascular drugs, anti-AIDS drugs and so on. NEGPF also produces medical intermediates and hundreds of pharmaceutical preparations, as well as medical instruments hygienic materials veterinary medicines, food, fodder additives and other relevant products. The main products are as follows: Vitamin C series, Fosfomycin series, Cephalosporin series, Piracetam, Chloramphenicol, SD, Berberine, Vitamin B1, Sucralfate , Amantadine, Rimantadine, L-carnitine, AZT(Zidovudine), Propiolic alcohol series and so on. All the products are up to the standards in the new editions of USP and BP. The products are sold not only to all the provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China but also to 55 countries and regions in the world. The annual export sales income amounts to nearly 80 million US dollars. As one of the major pharmaceutical enterprises, NEGPF has great producing capacity. Presently the producing scale of ten productions stands the first three places in the world. NEGPF possesses the advanced product technology and equipment. The main products・ economic and technical indexes have come up to the advanced world and home standards. Three products, Sucralfate, Amantadine and Ramantadine, have passed the American FDA inspection. NEGPF possesses the world・s largest Vitamin C single production line. The Berberine product technology of completely chemical synthesis is advanced in the world. And the product technology of Fosfomycin sodium, Piracetam, Vitamin B1 and Amantadine also keep ahead in the world.
